St. Joseph's/Candler is active in managed care programs throughout Southeast Georgia and South Carolina and is affiliated with a number of conveniently located physician's offices, clinics and hospitals within a 150-mile radius in 21 counties.

The goal of managed care is to provide quality health care while efficiently utilizing resources and effectively managing costs.

St. Joseph's/Candler has contracted with a number of local and regional coalitions and employers as the preferred healthcare provider for their employees. These include Savannah Business Group (SBG), Georgia Ports Authority, International Paper, and Industry Buying Group (IBG), as well as numerous networks.
