The Externship Program at St. Joseph's/Candler provides an opportunity for medical students to observe disease and injury treatment in the United States. Over the course of a month students rotate through a variety of clinical areas including: Ophthalmology Neurology Orthopaedics/Surgery Gastroenterology Student experiences may include observation of physician practice in various settings including private practice offices, hospital rounds, and surgery. Qualified students should request an application by completing the form below. Subject to availibilty, a video teleconference interview may be conducted. Four students will be selected for the program and notified via e-mail.
