St. Joseph’s/Candler provides assistance to medical missions throughout our region and the world, for example:

Members of our mission services team have collected and distributed food, clothing and other household and personal items for migrant farm workers.

St. Joseph’s/Candler financially supports a medical mission for the poor and uninsured on Savannah’s East side. This service provides health care to those who could not otherwise afford it. 

St. Joseph’s/Candler organizes medical teams to provide free medical assistance to the people of underdeveloped nations in Central America and South America.

Medical volunteers from St. Joseph’s/Candler provide care through inpatient and outpatient clinics, as well as through our informal teaching program in the hospital and clinic settings and conferences with medical students and house officers.
