St. Joseph's/Candler would like to introduce one of our outstanding members of the SJ/C Medical Group: Steven Bischof, D.O.

Dr. Bischof is a board certified, Georgia licensed, Family Practice physician. He received his medical degree from Kansas City University in Kansas City , Missouri . He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha . After training he began his career in medicine in Georgia and practiced there for 15 years before moving to Arkansas for a year.

Dr. Bischof is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and the Medical Association of Georgia.

In his free time, Dr. Bischof enjoys playing golf and racquetball.  He's also a private pilot and loves flying.  He likes to jog and has been known to participate in 10K runs.  He enjoys history, especially civil war history, and loves to travel.  He has been a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion for over 15 years, as well as serving as post commander for his V.F.W. post.
