The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion's oncology nurses are unique individuals with a special gift for providing not only the best medical care, but finding the inner strength to delicately handle the complex emotions of cancer patients and their families.

Our nurses provide:

• Infusion services
• Biotherapy
• Patient-specific cancer therapies such as blood products
• Growth factors to increase adherence to treatment schedules by maintaining blood cell counts required for chemotherapy administration
• Patient and family education
• Patient referrals to social workers, navigators link to services and programs - patient navigators and dietitians
• Emotional support.

Over 67 percent of our nurses are certified by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) and all are active participants in the Oncology Nursing Society^®. Our nursing staff has earned the American Nurses Credentialing Center's highest recognition of Magnet status.
