St. Joseph’s/Candler would like to
introduce one of our outstanding members of the SJ/C Medical Group:
John Barrett, MD.
Dr. Barrett is board certified in Internal Medicine. He
completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University and earned his medical degree from St.
Georgia ’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies.
After clinical rotations in New York and New Jersey, Dr. Barrett was a co-owner of a practice in
Milledgeville, GA. While maintaining this practice, he was
Chief of Medicine for Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville from 2002 to 2004 and
was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Mercer University School of Medicine
from 2001 to 2009.
Dr. Barrett is a member of the American College of
