Student Training Employment Partnership
S.T.E.P. (Student Training Employment Partnership) is designed to assist students in pursuit of their initial registered nurse degree. Students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled in a BSN program
- Must have completed their first semester of their junior year (Fundamentals of Nursing)
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
S.T.E.P. offers the following:
- Flexible work schedule
- Paid positions
- Mentor partnership
- Financial incentives
- Encouragement
The program requirements include:
- Minimum of 24 hours of work each pay period
- Satisfactory work performance
- Regular mentor meetings
- Semester/quarterly meetings with program coordinator.
