On a more regional level, we have affiliations with Emory University, Nemours Children's Clinic, Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. Our most recent partnership is with the Medical College of Georgia to assist in the training of third- and fourth-year medical students by serving as a site for their clinical rotations through private physicians.
Emory Healthcare - This partnership provides ongoing liver and kidney transplant services by the Transplant Section of The Emory Clinic. Local liver and kidney clinics are held monthly to provide patients in the community with access to transplant specialists without traveling to Atlanta. (Atlanta)
H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute - This affiliation makes clinical research trials from a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center available to us. Through the agreement, physicians and patients of Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion link to COE - Nancy and Lewis Cancer at St. Joseph's/Candler have access to an enhanced, academic-affiliated institute with advanced scientific, clinical, research and treatment activities. (Tampa)
Medical College of Georgia - The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is Georgia's health science university with schools of allied health sciences, dentistry, graduate studies, medicine and nursing.
