Look Good…Feel Better Program from the American Cancer Society
Transformation Station supports the American Cancer Society's Look Good...Feel Better® program, which provides women undergoing cancer treatment with gift boxes of products and personalized instructions on how to use them properly. Donated by nationally branded companies, the kits can include facial cream and cleanser, makeup, lipstick and liner, concealer and blush…everything a woman needs for a recovery makeover. The program takes place in a classroom setting. Please call 912-355-5196 for more information.
Other Programs at The Transformation Station
For women affected by breast cancer, lymphedema can develop in the tissues under hand, arm, breast or torso skin-typically on the same side as the cancer. As fluid builds up and the area swells, it can cause pain, reduced movement and serious infections. Transformation Station carries a full line of compression sleeves, hand gauntlets/gloves and thoracic/torso compression garments.
