Leukemia Cup Regatta
Leukemia Cup Regatta

Since 1997, The Leukemia Cup Regatta, organized by the members of the Savannah Yacht Club, has raised more than $3.3 million for research and patient programs for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It is the 2nd largest Leukemia Regatta in the United States.
St. Joseph's/Candler is the title sponsor for this event, which has events throughout the year with the main weekend of events held in September at the Savannah Yacht Club. This event is a fundraiser and is used to increase awareness in the community about blood-borne cancers. At the opening ceremonies a cancer survivor speaks on the importance of the society and how it has helped them in their journey through drug research, education and financial assistance.

In Savannah, it is a community coming together to help fight leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers, through a Series of Premier Sporting Events; 5k Run/Walk, Golf, Fishing, Tennis, Sailing, Auction and more.
