Patient and visitor screening in progress at LCRP
Because our cancer patients are uniquely vulnerable to coronavirus, the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion has implemented visitor restrictions to avoid spread of respiratory illnesses.
No visitors will be allowed at any LCRP locations. Patients to the LCRP will be screened through a questionnaire. Please be prepared to:
- Answer questions about your travel history
- State if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath)
- State if you have a fever
- Tell us of any recent contact with an ill traveler
Additionally, we are implementing temperature checks on patients at all LCRP locations. Security and a clinical screening team will continue to be stationed in the front lobbies of all LCRP locations.
These actions are necessary to avoid the spread of respiratory illnesses such as the flu and newly discovered COVID-19. COVID-19 is an illness that can spread from person to person. Learn more here.
