Dr. William Crosland earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. He did an internship/residency in internal medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a cardiology fellowship at Emery University in Atlanta. Dr. Crosland then did an interventional cardiology fellowship also at Emory University. Dr. Crosland is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is licensed to practice in the states of Georgia and South Carolina.
Dr. Crosland has special interests in radial cardiac catheterization, advanced coronary intervention, peripheral vascular intervention and pulmonary embolus and venous intervention. He's trained in echocardiography, nuclear imaging, coronary angiography and trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE).
