Dr. Charles Usher received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and his doctor of medicine degree from Medical College of Georgia. Following that, he did an internship in rotating surgery and a residency in general surgery, both at Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Usher is a member of the Georgia Medical Society, American Medical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and American Society of Breast Surgeons. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Usher currently practices at Telfair Breast Surgery and is an instructor with the Physician Assistant Program at South University. He also serves as co-chairman of the Breast Multi-Disciplinary Cancer Team and is a member of the Invasive Procedure Review Committee.
