Dr. Frederic Spector has practiced podiatric medicine and surgery in Savannah since 1982. He is a 1980 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University) and completed his residency training in foot and ankle surgery at Southeastern Medical Center in North Miami Beach, Florida, and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Hayward, California.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Spector maintains memberships in many professional organizations. Additionally Dr. Spector is published in medical literature and is a past board member of the American Podiatric Medical Writers Association.
Dr. Spector's special interests include Reconstructive Foot Surgery (including bunions, hammertoes ingrown toenails and endoscopic plantar fascia releases), Diabetic Foot Care (including foot ulcers and wound care), Heel Pain, and Sports Related Injuries.
