Meet Lindsay Thomas
Lindsay Thomas left a career as a mortgage banker to follow her passion for fashion. She initially built a business designing and making pillows, when along the way she was inspired to make a clutch for herself utilizing some of her pillow fabrics. This launched a new handbag obsession with a cult following, and Garland Bags was born. Her custom and unique clutches are sold in select boutiques throughout the country, as well as directly from her website. Lindsay is no stranger to SmartWomen. She's a longtime supporter of the event as an expo vendor and contributor to the very popular raffle. Lindsay is a native of Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia. We hope you are as inspired by Lindsay Thomas as we are and would consider making a donation to the Telfair Mammography Fund in her honor. The goal of the Mary Telfair Women's Hospital and the Mammography Fund is to ensure that all women have access to mammography, even if they have no insurance and cannot afford it. The SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Telfair Mammography Fund to meet this goal since its inception over a decade ago.
