Meet Malena Stone
Malena Stone created the nonprofit P.A.C.K., People of Action Caring for Kids. P.A.C.K. began as a kitchen table project when Malena and her husband, well-known Savannah pediatrician Dr. Dudley Stone, wanted to get their children involved in local charity. What started out as packing 50 bags of food in their kitchen, has now turned into a 501 c-3 non-profit which continues to be 100 percent volunteer led. P.A.C.K. delivers 10,000 bags of food each month to children in 37 local schools and community centers who are on free or reduced lunches and may have food insecurity. Malena's video is sponsored by Regions Bank and Peach State Health Plan.

Make a donation in Malena's honor
We hope you are as inspired by Malena Stone as we are and would consider making a donation to the Telfair Mammography Fund in her honor. The goal of the Mary Telfair Women's Hospital and the Mammography Fund is to ensure that all women have access to mammography, even if they have no insurance and cannot afford it. The SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Telfair Mammography Fund to meet this goal since its inception over a decade ago.
