The Legacy Circle

The Legacy Circle was established to recognize and honor those individuals who have remembered St. Joseph’s/Candler in their estate plans. If you have made a provision in your estate plan for St. Joseph’s/Candler, please be sure to let us know.

Our Goal

Today, the financial resources needed to provide our patients, families and friends with extraordinary medical care cannot be generated through patient service revenues alone. The support of individuals and organizations plays a vital role in St. Joseph's/Candler's mission to provide the highest-quality healthcare, in a safe and caring environment, for both patients and families. This mission is enhanced through the generosity of many dedicated donors to the St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations. With philanthropic support, St. Joseph's/Candler continues to be a leader in healthcare excellence regionally and nationally. 

The Legacy Circle honors those individuals who designate St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations with an endowment or planned gift, either an outright bequest of monies, stocks, or securities, or a gifted created in trust or charitable life insurance. 

Membership 

A planned gift to St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations can take many forms:

  • Bequest in a will
  • Life insurance, annuities or retirement plan
  • Establishment of a trust or endowment fund
  • Stocks or real estate

The Legacy Circle does not require a minimum gift for membership. The amount of your gift may be shared with St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations or kept confidential. To join, simply inform us of your gift. If you wish, we will work with you and your financial advisor to create a plan that best benefits you and your estate.
