Candler Hospital PGY1 Class of 2026

PGY1 2026 Class


Ashlee Green, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Ashlee Greene is originally from Perry, GA. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA. Dr. Greene’s practice interests include geriatrics, psychiatric medicine, and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to complete a PGY2 residency in psychiatric medicine or ambulatory care and find a career as an ambulatory care pharmacist based in a veteran or geriatric-centered community. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Greene enjoys anime, cosplay, baking, singing, attending concerts, reading, arts & crafts, and decorating/hosting events. 

Jordan Meredith, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Jordyn Meredith is originally from Woodstock, GA. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy in Savannah, GA. Dr. Meredith’s practice interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and academia. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to complete a PGY2 residency in emergency medicine and pursue a career in hospital-based clinical pharmacy. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Meredith enjoys fishing and finding fun new places to read or enjoy with friends. 

Maddie Nannis, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Maddie Nannis is originally from Dacula, GA. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA. Dr. Nannis’s practice interests include oncology and internal medicine. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue a career in hospital-based clinical pharmacy which may include completing a PGY2 residency in one of her interest areas. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Nannis enjoys attending workout classes and going to the beach with friends. 


Abby Powell, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Abby Powell is originally from Richmond Hill, GA. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA. Dr. Powell’s practice interests include infectious disease and internal medicine. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to obtain a Pharmacotherapy Specialty Certification and pursue a career in clinical pharmacy in one of her interest areas. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Powell enjoys reading, antiquing, and going on walks with her Shih Tzu named Teddy. 


Paige Stegall, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Paige Stegall is originally from Bainbridge, GA. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA. Dr. Stegall’s practice interests include critical care and internal medicine. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy which may include completing a PGY2 residency in one of her interest areas. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Stegall enjoys watching UGA football, going to the beach, traveling, and trying new restaurants in Savannah. 


Charlie Thain, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Charlie Thain is originally from Marietta, GA. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA. Dr. Thain’s practice interests include critical care, infectious disease, and internal medicine. Upon completion of his PGY Pharmacy Residency, he plans to complete a PGY2 residency and obtain board certification in one of his areas of interest. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Thain enjoys going to the beach on Tybee Island, finding live music in and around Savannah, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.  

 

St. Joseph's/Candler PGY2 Critical Care

Taylor Hewitt, St. Joseph's/Candler pharmacy student

Dr. Taylor Hewitt is originally from Huntley, IL. She completed her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at South University School of Pharmacy in Savannah, GA, and her PGY1 at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital. Upon completion of her PGY2 residency, Dr. Hewitt would like to a pursue a career as a board certified critical care pharmacist working in the intensive care setting. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
