Telfair BirthPlace: Prepared Breastfeeding Class

The Telfair BirthPlace sponsors Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes for expectant mothers and their families.

The classes are taught by a certified lactation consultant and provide participants with an understanding of lactation and breastfeeding. Cost is $25 for BOTH expecting mom and one guest. Please select 1 for number of guest attending to be charged the $25 fee.

All visitors (expecting mom and one guest) will be required to follow hospital visitation and mask policy, which could change any time. Please visit the hospital website for the latest requirements. 

We ask if you have a fever, cough or are sick with any illness please do not attend. Refunds can be issued.

You can trust that the Telfair BirthPlace and St. Joseph’s/Candler are taking all necessary precautions to keep you and your baby safe while preparing you for this exciting journey. Additionally, we continue to monitor COVID-19 cases in our region. If a decision is made to cancel future classes, it will be done so with your best interest in mind. You will be notified immediately and any appropriate refunds will be issued.
