Our survivorship program, Cancer Transitions, returns to in-person classes in the winter of 2023. The four-week workshop starts on Thursday, Feb. 2, and continuing each Thursday throughout the month. Each session is from 9 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m.. The upcoming sessions include:
Session 1: Get back to wellness: Take control of your survivorship
Session 2: Emotional health
Session 3: Eating well and staying active
Session 4: Medical management beyond cancer: What you need to know
Cancer Transitions is a free, four-week workshop designed to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Expert panelists include physicians, nutritionists and fitness. Some of the topics discussed include exercises tailored to each participant's abilities, training in relaxation and stress management, as well as tips for nutritious eating. Cancer Transitions will answer many of your questions about cancer survivorship post-cancer treatment.
