Our full-service laboratories, constantly staffed by registered medical technologists, provide comprehensive clinical laboratory testing to physicians, clinics, long-term care facilities and hospitals. We serve clients in Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, Candler, Effingham and Bulloch counties.
The St. Joseph's/Candler Health System Laboratories are clinical laboratories dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our community, patients and providers. The SJ/C laboratories participate in the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program, have Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification through the Center for Medical and Medicaid Services (CMS) and are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). The SJ/C laboratories are full-service labs offering diagnostic services, pathology services and outreach reference laboratory services.
Through our state-of-the-art instrumentation and methodologies, our clinical laboratory scientists strive for uncompromising quality standards. We are licensed or accredited by the following:
