St. Joseph's/Candler has always used manikins as part of training for our nursing students, but thanks to a partnership with Georgia Southern University, we can now use the Simulation Man, a manikin that coughs, blinks, has a heartbeat and so much more. The addition of this high-tech method of training helps enhance the skills of the next generation of Magnet nurses coming to St. Joseph’s/Candler.
