When your doctor orders lab work, you want a convenient and quick location to get the work done. At St. Joseph’s/Candler, we have five convenient locations for outpatient laboratory services, including our newest location right across the street from St. Joseph’s Hospital.

“We are fast. There’s no long wait,” says Dajaunia James, customer experience specialist at the St. Joseph’s/Candler Outpatient Lab Center located in Plaza A, Building 3, across from St. Joseph's Hospital. “A lot of people say it’s convenient as well because we are right here beside so many doctors’ offices.”

Here are four things we’d like you to know about our outpatient laboratory services:

1. What services/tests do we offer?

   The SJ/C laboratories are full-service labs offering diagnostic services, pathology services and outreach reference laboratory services.

2. Where are we located and what are our hours?
   We have five locations between Georgia and South Carolina:

3. Do I need an appointment?
   You do not need an appointment and walk-ins are welcomed. However, you do need a doctor’s order with his or her signature on what tests we are to perform.

• Health and Human Services – Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1999 (CLIA)
