Are you in need of a quick breakfast or afternoon snack? Maybe you are undergoing cancer treatment and your appetite isn’t the same but you know you need calories and essential nutrients. Or, do you just want to drop a few pounds?
We asked our dietitians at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion to come up with a tasty and healthy smoothie recipe that can be enjoyed by all.

Here’s their take on a strawberry raspberry smoothie. We hope you’ll give it a try soon and enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
- 2/3 cup milk or milk substitute
- 1 cup vanilla or honey-vanilla flavored Greek yogurt
- 1 ½ tsp grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1/2 package (about 16 ounces) frozen strawberries
- 1 package (about six ounces) of raspberries
DIRECTIONS
Combine all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until silky smooth. Pour and enjoy!
