What is a lung cancer screening?
A lung cancer screening uses a low-dose CT scan to detect lung nodules that may be cancerous. This non-invasive test allows doctors to identify potential signs of lung cancer early, often before symptoms appear. Early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
