About Jonathan K. Bakos, MD

Dr. J. Keegan Bakos earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Fairborn, Ohio. Dr. Bakos did both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. That was followed by his fellowship in hematology and oncology also at MUSC. Dr. Bakos is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina and is board certified in internal medicine. He’s a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and South Carolina Oncology Society.
