Paint The Town Pink is our annual fundraiser for the Telfair Mammography Fun
We are excited to announce Paint The Town Pink returns! And so are our two sponsors from last year, long-time Paint The Town Pink partner Savannah Morning News and WSAV. This means we will have even more avenues to raise awareness and educate our community about mammography screening and prevention of breast cancer.
Paint The Town Pink is a breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign that raises money for the Telfair Mammography Fund. The purpose of Telfair Mammography Fund is to provide no-cost breast health services to uninsured and underinsured individuals. These services include screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, MRI and image-guided breast biopsies.
With support from campaigns like Paint The Town Pink, we have helped thousands of women since the Mammography Fund was created in 2005. You can donate to the Telfair Mammography Fund year round. Please donate today and help us help thousands more.

When is the PTTP Campaign Kick-Off Event?
11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion located at 225 Candler Drive, Savannah, Ga. 31405. All Paint The Town Pink participants are invited, but not required to attend the kick off.
When is the PTTP Wrap Up Press Conference?
10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion located at 225 Candler Drive, Savannah, Ga. 31405.
All Paint The Town Pink participants are invited to attend the Wrap Up event. Each participating organization will be called up for a photo and to share how much they raised. Once you know the total amount your organization raised, please share with SJ/C Foundations in order for them to have the big check ready for the photo. You are also welcome to bring your own presentation check if you wish.

How do I request an SJ/C representative at my event?
Send your request via e-mail to Gretchen Chamberlain at pearceg@sjchs.org. Your request will need to include the date, time and location of your event. Please also indicate if you wish to have someone speak on behalf of the Telfair Mammography Fund. Please note that we will do our best to have someone attend, but this is not guaranteed and is based on availabiltiy.

ALL MONTH / Savannah Morning News and WSAV Throughout the entire month of October, readers should look for inspiring local stories on breast cancer prevention, treatment, survivorship, courage and hope.
ALL MONTH / The Olde Pink House The Olde Pink House will donate $1 to Paint The Town Pink from every Pink Lady cocktail sold during the month of October. The Olde Pink House is located at 23 Abercorn Street in downtown Savannah.
OCTOBER 3rd / Healing Heroes Fashion Show Join WSAV TV News Anchor Tina Tyus-Shaw for a celebration and tribute to breast cancer survivors with a fashion show featuring local survivors. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion. Tickets are $25, benefiting the Telfair Mammography Fund. OCTOBER 17th / Embrace for Good - J.C. Lewis Lincoln J.C. Lewis Lincoln will host Embrace for Good on Oct. 17. For every guest that participates in a Lincoln Test Drive & Rejuvenate session, Lincoln will donate $50 to the Telfair Mammography Fund. Additionally, the Mobile Mammography Unit will be on site to provide screening mammograms.
OCTOBER 20th / Sips at the Station Join WSAV TV News Anchor Tina Tyus-Shaw at Ardsley Station for an evening of socializing and sipping to raise money for the Telfair Mammography Fund. The event is Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
OCTOBER 21st / Mobile Mammography at WSAV The St. Joseph's/Candler Mobile Mammography Unit will be in the parking lot at WSAV's office on Victory Drive between 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21. WSAV on-air talent will be stopping by to see patients and broadcast live from the Mobile Mammo Unit. For more information and to sign up for a mammogram, please click here.
OCTOBER 26th / St. Joseph’s/Candler’s 18th Annual Mammography Day Locations include St. Joseph’s Hospital, Telfair Pavilion at Candler Hospital, Telfair Breast Imaging Center - Eisenhower Drive, SJ/C Imaging Center – Bluffton campus, SJ/C Imaging Center- Pooler campus and the SJ/C Mobile Mammography Unit, which will be at Chatham County Health Department. CALL 819-7465 (819-PINK) to register. (This is a screening mammogram only. Those who have had a mammogram in less than one year will not qualify. Most insurance plans are accepted, while financial assistance is available to those who qualify. If Mammography Day is not a convenient date, please call 819-6800 to schedule a screening mammogram for any site on a more convenient date).

Fund The Mission
When you give to the Telfair Mammography, you help ensure that all women have access to mammography services, even if they are underinsured or have no insurance. Over the last several years, the Telfair Mammography Fund has seen an increase in utilization and is in constant need of additional monetary support.
