Paint The Town Pink With Us!
Paint the Town Pink is a celebration of breast cancer awareness and survivorship in October lead by St. Joseph’s/Candler with our media partners, the Savannah Morning News and WSAV. One key goal for PTTP is to replenish the Telfair Mammography Fund, an instrumental tool for providing no-cost breast health services to the uninsured and underinsured.
You can join us and proudly display the Paint the Town Pink branding by registering! Registering also ensures your event will be added to PTTP calendars at SJ/C, the Savannah Morning News and WSAV.

What does it mean to host a Paint the Town Pink event?
As a third-party fundraiser participant, there are general guidelines and expectations to follow. By keeping messaging and branding aligned, this allows our united front for breast cancer mammography fundraising to look cohesive, strong, and of course, pink.
What does the Telfair Mammography Fund do?
- Telfair Mammography Fund ensures that women have access to breast health services, even if they are underinsured or have no insurance. In our region, approximately 25% of the population meets that criterion.
- The Telfair Mammography Fund has provided thousands of free screening and diagnostic mammograms and additional breast health services for women who could not otherwise afford it.
- It also provides breast ultrasounds, breast MRI and image-guided breast biopsies.
- The fund also helps acquire advanced breast health technology.
- Many radiologists, pathologists and surgeons work with the fund to provide lower fees for patients, to help us serve as many women as possible.
What are the Paint the Town Pink guidelines?
- Approved third-party fundraiser materials must specify that the event is “benefiting the Telfair Mammography Fund”
- It may NOT use verbiage such as “sponsored by, in partnership with” or other similar terminology
