What We Treat: Highlighted Therapy Services

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular therapy is designed to treat dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders caused by inner ear or brain issues. This specialized therapy improves stability, reduces fall risks, and enhances daily functioning, making it a vital service for patients with vestibular dysfunction, including those recovering from concussions or neurological conditions.

Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy

Focused on injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and arm, this therapy helps patients regain fine motor skills, strength, and coordination. From fractures and tendon injuries to conditions like arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome, hand therapy is critical for restoring independence in everyday tasks.

Balance Rehabilitation

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury, especially among older adults. Balance rehabilitation focuses on improving stability, coordination, and strength, helping patients regain confidence and prevent falls. This therapy is often paired with vestibular therapy for comprehensive care.

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy occurs in a heated pool, providing a low-impact environment for patients to regain strength and mobility. It is especially beneficial for those with arthritis, back pain, neurological conditions, or post-surgical recovery, offering a gentle yet effective method for rehabilitation.

Transfer of Dominance

This unique therapy supports patients who must adapt to using their non-dominant side due to injuries, amputations, or strokes. It involves tailored exercises and training to help patients regain independence in their daily activities and professional tasks.

Work Conditioning

Work conditioning programs focus on helping individuals safely return to their job roles after an injury or illness. Through targeted strength and endurance exercises, ergonomic adjustments, and job simulation activities, this therapy prepares patients to meet the physical demands of their work environment.
