Basic diabetes education:
This program offers one-on-one sessions for type one and type two diabetes patients, focusing on individualized care plans and self-management skills. Patients receive tailored education to help them manage their condition effectively.
Gestational diabetes education:
This program provides personalized, one-on-one guidance from a multidisciplinary team, covering nutrition, glucose monitoring and insulin administration for gestational diabetes care during pregnancy.
Insulin pump education:
Focused on personalized insulin pump therapy education, this program offers in-depth instruction on carbohydrate counting, pump operation and daily management with support from certified specialists.
Juvenile diabetes education:
Designed for children, teens and their families, this program uses age-appropriate tools and curriculum to teach self-management skills through one-on-one sessions with a certified diabetes care team.
Additional services include medication management, nutrition counseling, blood glucose monitoring and advanced insulin pump therapy. We focus on evidence-based practices and partner with you to create a treatment plan that aligns with your lifestyle and health goals based on expert research from board-certified specialists. We provide diabetes education and recommendations according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards of Care in an outpatient setting on Candler Hospital's campus.
