Group Fitness Classes at the Wellness Center

Our fitness classes are designed to use the power of a group to motivate you and get you to reach new heights in your exercise routine. Designed for beginners to experts, young to the old, explore and experience our variety of fitness classes.

Group fitness classes are taught in Suites 100 and 120 on the first floor of the Heart and Lung Building and in the conference room located in the Wellness Center. You must be a Wellness Center member to attend classes. Pre-registration is for water aerobics only.

Group Fitness Schedule

Water Aerobics

All classes are held in the warm therapy pool located in the Heart and Lung Building, Suite 120 on the first floor. Swimming is not required for any of the Water Aerobics. A pool lift is available to assist participants into the pool. All classes are 45 minutes in length. MUST BE A WELLNESS CENTER MEMBER, and due to high demand, each participant may only register for one group of classes.

Classes include: easy warm up, range of motion, cardiovascular endurance, strength training (with water weights) and relaxation.

  • 8:45 a.m., Tuesday & Thursday
  • 10 a.m., Monday, Wednesday & Friday
  • 10:30 a.m., Tuesday & Thursday
  • Noon, Monday through Friday
  • 1:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday & Friday
  • 6 p.m., Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Tai Chi

Learn to improve your health with an exercise derived from the ancient Chinese martial arts. This class's gentle movements may improve your physical energy, circulation, flexibility, coordination and balance. Classes are an hour and a half long and are held in the Heart and Lung Building, Suite 100. The classes are open to anyone interested, but Wednesday's classes are designed with the beginner in mind.

  • 10:30 a.m. to noon, Monday & Wednesday

Circuit Training

This 45-minute cardio and strength workout maximizes your athletic ability! This class alternates 2-5 minutes of cardio with 2-5 minutes of strength exercises guaranteed to make you sweat. This class is taught on the track in Suite 120 of the Heart and Lung Building.

  • 5:15 p.m. - 6 p.m., Monday & Wednesday

Hatha Yoga

Located in Suite 100 in the Heart and Lung Building, this non-threatening class will safely introduce you to basic yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques that is easy to follow and suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. This class will help with handling stress, become more flexible, increase strength, and bring balance into your life.

  • 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday & Wednesday 


This class is open to all of our current and former Weight Management and GoStrong participants. It is taught on the track in Suite 120 of the Heart and Lung Building. Contact the Front Desk at 819-8800 for more information.

  • 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., Tuesday

Silver Sneaker Chair Aerobics

A low impact, chair based class that uses hand weights, small exercise balls and resistance bands to increase endurance. No floor work. This class is for 45 minutes and is held in the Heart and Lung Building, Suite 100. Learn more about out Silver Sneakers program here

  • 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Tuesday & Thursday


You become the music in an exhilarating full  body workout that combines cardio and strength training. Designed for all fitness levels!

  • 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday


Cardio dance workout built on zero judgement and good vibes with athletic moves and steps. All fitness levels welcome!

  • 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday
