Dr. Majd Chahin earned his medical degree from Tishreen University School of Medicine in Latakia, Syria. He did a residency in internal medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
Dr. Chahin began practicing in the Low Country in 1995, including serving as medical director of the Sea Island Cancer Center in Port Royal. He has written several chapters in medical books, done numerous research studies and served as principal investigator on more than a dozen clinical trials. Dr. Chahin is a member of the several scholarly societies including the American Medical Association, American Cancer Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Chahin is board certified in medical oncology and is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and Georgia.

Dr. Sarah Gill is a board certified Gynecologic Oncologist who has been practicing at the Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion since August 2017. She completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., after residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tenn. Dr. Gill is double board certified in both Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, which is a prestigious honor among surgeons, as of Oct. 2020. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Dr. Gill's interests include treatment of premalignant and malignant conditions of the female genital tract, clinical trials, chemotherapy and survivorship.

Dr. Gregory Haidemenos earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and did his internal medicine residency
at Roger Williams Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine in Providence, RI. He went on to do a fellowship in hospice and palliative care at The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas,
followed by a fellowship in hematology oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he was chief fellow.
Dr. Haidemenos is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia and South Carolina. He is a member of the South Carolina Oncology Society, South Carolina Medical Society, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. Dr. John Pablo received a bachelor's degree in biology from Tufts University and a doctor of medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in radiation oncology at Emory University
Hospital.
He is currently the medical director at Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion Radiation Oncology Center including the Bluffton-Hilton Head site. Dr. Pablo has extensive experience with conventional simulation, CT-based
simulation, 3-D treatment planning, intensity modulated radiation therapy, and high- and low-dose image-guided radiation therapy. He specializes in prostate brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiosurgery.

Dr. Stephen Ramey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Furman University in Greenville, SC. He received his doctor of medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He did a preliminary intern year in internal medicine also at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston followed by a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. Dr. Gary Thomas received his B.A. of Chemistry from the College of Charleston and medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston,
SC. Following that he did his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia and was named Chief Resident. He completed his Medical Oncology fellowship at The Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University 1993.
Dr.
Thomas has been in practice in the LowCountry of South Carolina since 1993 and has been the Medical Director of South Carolina Cancer Specialists since 2001. He accepted the Clinical Assistant Professor appointment to Medical University of South Carolina
in 2006. He is currently on the Peer Review panel of ASCO Journals for Lymphoma.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
