About Katharine A. Armstrong, MD

Dr. Katharine Armstrong earned a Bachelor of Arts in music and a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. She then received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Armstrong completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE followed by a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology. In her free time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys running, singing, music, hiking and traveling. She also speaks conversational Spanish.
