Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion

At St. Joseph’s/Candler and the LCRP, we are guided by our mission: Rooted in God's love, we treat illness and promote wellness for all people. This commitment extends beyond medical care to include pastoral care, offering spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Our Pastoral Care Services

The Pastoral Care department at the LCRP is dedicated to supporting the spiritual well-being of patients and families. We understand the importance of faith in healing and strive to provide personalized support for individuals of all religious beliefs and spiritual traditions. Our services include:

  • Spiritual Counseling: Guidance and comfort are tailored to individual beliefs and practices during difficult times.
  • Family Support: Assistance for families coping with the emotional challenges of cancer treatment.
  • Relaxation and Resource Materials: Access to materials that address spirituality, health, and well-being.

Our team values diversity and works closely with multi-denominational leaders in the community to ensure that everyone’s needs are respected and met.
