Steps we take to reduce risk of COVID transmission

Even outside of the current pandemic, our outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy centers are regularly inspected by a team of hospital experts including the following:

  • Infection Control Practitioners
  • Safety & Security Officers
  • Regulatory Specialist
  • Biomedical Engineers
  • Occupational Health Nurses
  • Environmental Cleaning experts

In addition:

  • Our centers are a certified by The Joint Commission
  • Cleaning is always with hospital approved disinfectants
  • Therapy leaders with over 50 years of cumulative experience

But during the current pandemic we have strengthened our practices and are guided by a team of experts which includes the following:

  • Infection Control Practitioners
  • Infection Control Physicians
  • Chief Nursing Officer
  • Occupational Health Nurses

Practices are being updated according to the latest data to include but not limited to the following:

  • Masks are being worn by co-workers and patients
  • Temperature checks when arriving
  • Multiple screening “checks points” at every visit and pre-arrival
  • Individual (one-on-one)appointments- especially for those “at risk” patients
